Perched on top of the hills, Chavot offers one of the most exceptional landscapes in the whole Champagne region. Its church, built from 1202 onwards with stones from the castle of the Mont Félix (dating back to the 9th century), largely contributes to its fame. Our gîte was named after this ancient building.
We give you the opportunity to stay for a few days in a historical place, since the gîte was used as the village’s presbytery until the French Revolution. A century later, in 1889, it became the house of Jean-Baptiste Laherte, founder of our Champagne brand.
The house consists of three storeys. The ground floor is made up of a dining room, a living room and a kitchen. On the first floor, you will find two large bedrooms with double beds and a single bed. The second floor consists of three attic bedrooms with double beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (shower and toilets). The house also offers a private courtyard, a terrace, a garden set with barbecue, and a parking space.
